Are you ready to take your ice climbing skills to the next level?  Our two day Learning to Lead Ice Climbing course is designed for those people who are confident top rope ice climbers who want to expand on their skill set.

The Learning to Lead Ice Climbing Course focuses on reading ice safely and appropriately and developing good stances to place screws.  From this point, the budding leader can learn to build anchors, mitigate hazards and start leading ice climbs on their own.

Other skills that are taught on the course include mixed anchors, mixed gear, and rappelling.

This two-day course is taught in the June Lake and Lee Vining areas of California’s Eastern Sierra.  The area features the Sierra’s most reliable ice climbing.  It also allows for a great variety of types of climbs as well and both single and multi-pitch ice climbing options.

Come out and join us for two great days of guided instruction to take your personal climbing to the next level
