Mt. Shasta Spring Ski & Snowboarding Camps

Find out why Mt. Shasta is one of the best peaks for backcountry skiing and riding in the country! The west and east sides of the mountain offer an extensive variety of terrain including decents of Shastina, Shasta's sister peak. Four day in the Shasta backcountry includes instruction in snow camping as well as backcountry skiing and riding techniques, a ski desent from the summit is possible! Mt. Lassen & Mt. Shasta Ski Descents
Mt. Lassen - 10, 457 ft. & Mt. Shasta 14,162 ft.

Spend three days on Mt. Lassen or Mt. Shasta, exploring and learning about the world of ski mountaineering. Learn the techniques on how to safely ascend and decend a snow covered peak. Instruction includes, avalanche awareness, ice ax self-arrest, use of the rope, route finding, along with backcountry skiing and snowboarding techniques. Designed for intermediate (Mt. Lassen) to advanced (Mt. Shasta), telemark, Randonnee skiers and snowboarders.

Sierra High Route: Trans-Sierra Classic
Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks


A classic ski route traverse across the Sierra, using a high line from Wolverton ski area on the western slopes to Shepards Pass on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada. This route combines nine passes, over 12,000 ft with spectacular bowls, vistas and excellent spring skiing. For advanced skiers and snowboarders, with excellent physical conditioning. A ski adventure of a lifetime close to home.
